En s’inspirant des croyances animistes et de la nature comme force créatrice, ses abstractions se composent de diverses formes qui lui permettent d'associer et d'entremêler des histoires, des traces du passé ramenant chacun à sa propre vulnérabilité face à l'épreuve du temps et à la force de la nature.

Guidée par une texture, un contraste, une densité, elle associe, entremêle et fait naitre de nouvelles aventures, des paysages oniriques et des lieux consolatoires.

Ces improvisations permettent à l’artiste d’exprimer sa nature intérieure, de capter l’essence de la réalité et de la retranscrire par l’abstrait, c’est une nécessité intérieure comme l’a théorisé Vassily Kandinsky. Claire souhaite avec sa peinture exprimer sa nature profonde et accompagner le regardeur dans un voyage intérieur.

Par ces abstractions elle propose un monde plus désirable où les humains vivent en harmonie avec les élèments du vivant soulignant que la la beauté de la nature et l'art peuvent sauver. C'est une manière différente d'exister au monde plus poétique et plus sensible.

Guided by nuances of texture, contrast, and density, she interweaves in her Abstractions series traces of the past - fragments rooted in her personal history and memory.

Through these compositions, she seeks to create a space of resonance with the viewer, inviting each individual to reconnect with their own recollections and to wander within the landscapes of their imagination.

 

Her abstractions become an invitation to travel, an inner journey echoing the words of Charles Baudelaire : “there, everything would speak to the soul in its sweet native tongue, in secret.”

 

Her practice explores imagined and chromatic territories, as much through the presence of color as through its deliberate absence. She composes visual cartographies that evoke aerial perspectives and mental landscapes - spaces imbued with a sense of harmony and quiet vitality. In this, her work recalls the rhythmic compositions of Piet Mondrian’s Broadway Boogie-Woogie, while also resonating with Andy Goldsworthy’s sensitive engagement with nature as a living, ever-evolving flow.

 

Through this approach, she proposes another way of inhabiting the world - one that is more contemplative and poetic - suggesting that within the dialogue between nature and artistic creation lies a capacity for renewal, and perhaps, a form of salvation.
